Roma midfielder Riccardo Pagano is on his way up from the club’s Primavera.
Pagano travelled with the rest of the first team to Prague earlier today where he sat alongside Jose Mourinho to preview tomorrow’s Europa League fixture with Slavia Praha.
During the presser, Pagano discussed his development under Mourinho’s watchful eye.
“I definitely think I’m in a good place. At the beginning of the season I hoped to play like this but I didn’t expect it. The coach gave me opportunities and I was good at taking them.”
“I think I’m at a good point because I’m learning a lot every day and I’m in contact with older players, more experienced than me. I’ll be ready when the coach gives me other opportunities.”
“Derby? We are completely focused on tomorrow’s match. We have an important match that we want to win to qualify. We will give everything to win. We’ll think about the derby on Friday.”
“I think we are giving continuity to our positive results. In the last 7 games we have won 6, losing only to Inter. We have to continue like this and tomorrow we will go on the pitch to win the match.”
