Federico Ricci, who is enjoying a fantastic season at Crotone on loan from Roma, spoke to Guerin Sportivo today, here are his words:
You’ve made four appearances in Serie A and now a loan at Crotone where Florenzi flourished.
Some have already ventured to make comparisons to people that make me uncomfortable. Obviously it’d be nice to do what Florenzi has done, but he, at the moment, is in another dimension. He’s young but is already the third captain at Roma behind Totti and De Rossi. Even in the Champions League against Real Madrid he was wearing the armband. I appreciate him because he can play so many roles on the right side.
To what extent is it conceivable to return to Roma?
I don’t know, I’m currently on loan with an option to buy, everything will be decided at the end of the season. Let’s just say that the operation compared to Florenzi’s would be easier. In order to buy him, Roma had to shell out a large amount because they didn’t foresee the counter option to buy.
