Rick Karsdorp decides to remain at Roma

Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp seems to be convinced of his own future in the capital.

Despite suffering a season-ending injury in March, Karsdorp has been put on Roma’s transfer list given his rocky relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.

However, Corriere dello Sport reports that Karsdorp has communicated to the club that he has no intention of leaving.

The Dutchman’s contract is set to expire in 2025 and Karsdorp does not seem keen on the idea of moving elsewhere, much less on loan.

So far, Roma have failed to draw any offers for the ex-Feyenoord man who, after joining the club in 2017, is looking to extend his stay even further.
