After all, Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp will not be making a return to the national team after earlier news that put him among the player Louis Van Gaal inserted for the European competition.
Earlier today the Netherlands’ call-up sheet was released and Karsdorp’s names was not on the list.
It remains to be seen whether it was a technical choice or a decision dictated by the slight injury that forced Karsdorp to exit minutes before the final whistle to Roma-Feyenoord.
