Despite recovering the likes of Tammy Abraham and Nicolo Zaniolo, Roma will have to face Empoli tomorrow without two equally important pieces as Jose Mourinho was forced to exclude Rick Karsdorp and Nicola Zalewski from the team’s trip to Tuscany.
The two players were ruled out by the club’s medical staff. Both are dealing with muscle fatigue and the Special One did not want to risk them.
Earlier reports suggested that Nicola Zalewski may be rested in the coming days for the upcoming match with Atalanta, whereas Rick Karsdorp’s return is yet to be determined.
Zeki Celik and Leonardo Spinazzola will start in their place instead.
