Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp – despite not featuring in last night’s defeat in the Europa League final – expressed his frustration in the post-match ceremony.
The Dutchman – who has been sidelined for the past few months with a meniscus injury – attended the post-match ceremony where Roma players and staff received their silver medals.
Karsdorp, however, rejected the medal with UEFA president Aleksandar Ceferin forcing him to accept it and wear it.
