Former Roma executive Ricky Massara could make his return to the Italian capital club.
As reported by Leggo, the future of General Manager Tiago Pinto remains unresolved, just like the future of head coach Jose Mourinho.
Pinto – who joined the club in January 2021 – has still a few months left on his contract. However, no discussions have taken place yet regarding his long-term plans.
As a result, the newspaper claims Roma have kept a keen eye on Ricky Massara – who had already been linked with a return to the Giallorossi following his recent exit from Milan.
Massara could in fact become Pinto’s future replacement, having collected the necessary experience as sporting director and sporting area’s main coordinator, a role which he’d been preparing for since his days of working with Walter Sabatini and Ramon Monchi.
