Present among the guests at the Coppa Italia final between Milan and Bologna, Roberto Mancini was approached by reporters outside the Stadio Olimpico.
When asked about a possible return to the bench, the former coach of the Italian national team avoided answering.
A second journalist was more direct, provoking with an explicit reference alluding to Roma: “Someone hopes that this will be your stadium next year”.
Mancini’s dry response, accompanied by a smile, was: “No…” although the answer did not seem to satisfy those gathered.
