Italy manager Roberto Mancini was recently interviewed on a variety of topics including the situation around Cristiano Ronaldo’s refusal to come on for Manchester United, as well as the best players he’s coached in his career.
The Italian technician also briefly addressed the issue of Zaniolo and his lack of continuity in Italy’s plans so far.
“It will depend entirely on him, it’s up to him really,” Mancini told Autocalcio on Rai2.
“It always depends on ourselves. I would believe in representing Italy even when I hadn’t made a single appearance in Serie A nor Serie B for that matter.”
“Time flies. All in one moment, so I hope he fulfils his potential,” Mancini concluded.
