Following an excellent Euros 2020 tournament, Robin Olsen plans on moving on from Roma. The Swedish shot-stopper who spent last season on loan at Everton does not fit Mourinho’s project. Roma are hoping to capitalize on the player’s solid display in the Euros, with teams taking notice and coming forward with potential offers.
Numerous teams are interested in Olsen. The Swede is well reputed in other leagues including La Liga and the Premier League. According to Spanish sports outlet AS, Spain’s reigning champions, Atletico Madrid, are considering Olsen as a potential second-choice keeper. Meanwhile, West Ham and Ligue 1 champions Lille have also began monitoring the player.
Olsen was brought in by former sporting director Ramon Monchi in the summer of 2018. After a shaky first season at the Roman club, the player was loaned out to Cagliari and Everton. Now, the Swede is getting ready to move on from Roma a third time.
