Swedish shot-stopper Robin Olsen has finally found a home after a series of unsuccessful loan spells in Italy and England.
According to Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sport, Olsen – who joined Roma in 2018 and was subsequently sent on loan in the following seasons – is going to sign a permanent deal with Aston Villa.
The ex-Cagliari man joined Villa earlier in January and only made one appearance for the English side. However, the 32-year-old has impressed Steven Gerrard who wants to keep him going forward.
Roma will earn €3.5 million from the player’s sale in the summer.
