Dutch legend Robin Van Persie and former Feyenoord captain spoke to ESPN ahead of the Conference League final.
“The Feyenoord has a unique, super dynamic style of play,” he said.
“I want to congratulate the guys who worked to achieve this result. There are 16-17 guys who have played a lot this season.”
“Having those players who play so intensely every three or four days for an entire season, is really very special. It wasn’t so extreme in my time.”
“I’ve met Mourinho over the years. I’ve seen a lot of Roma games and I rely on them to make a counterattack.”
“They also have good players on offense. Abraham had a great season.”
“Mourinho is obviously a super experienced coach and everyone knows his style of play, but I’m super happy that Feyenoord has his own.”
“I really have a good feeling about this game and I’m often right about this, I expect the Feyenoord to win 2-1.”
