Rodrigo Riquelme has reportedly agreed to a move to the Italian capital.

The Atletico Madrid man is being linked with Roma who are still looking for reinforcements to further boost Daniele De Rossi’s attacking department.

With Federico Chiesa labelled as Roma’s top target for the summer, Atletico’s Rodrigo Riquelme is waiting his turn after holding preliminary talks with the Giallorossi in June.

As reported in today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Riquelme remains a viable option, studied and analyzed by De Rossi and his staff.

Contacts continue between Roma and Atletico Madrid, as well as between Ghisolfi and the entourage of the twenty-four-year-old Spaniard who has already made it known that he is willing to move to the capital.

Riquelme will not participate in the Olympics with Spain and this is certainly a positive factor for his readiness in case of a transfer.

Atletico is asking for 30 million euros but so far Roma has not gone beyond offering 20 million.
