Rodrigo Riquelme is the main target to strengthen Roma’s left flank.

The Giallorossi have held talks with the Spaniard’s entourage and are now trying to convince him to move to the Italian capital.

However, the task is a difficult one, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport, as Riquelme is very fond of Atletico and feels he still has a lot to prove under Diego Simeone.

For Roma, however, Riquelme is the main alternative to Federico Chiesa.

If he landed in Trigoria, he would become a permanent starter, playing in the role he prefers and benefiting from a salary increase.

However, the main challenge remains to convince Riquelme to leave the club he supports.
