Former Roma attacker Rodrigo Taddei recently discussed the impact Jose Mourinho and the Friedkin ownership have had and the importance of the Conference League trophy for the club’s long-term project.
“This is a serious ownership, they’re doing the best for the city and the supporters who deserve it,” he told World Soccer Agency. “They brought in an important leader like Mourinho who is used to winning everywhere he goes.”
“This way we won the Conference League, we managed to lift a trophy that had been missing for so many years.”
“Thanks to them, Mourinho, and the Conference League win, Roma have started earn more respect in Europe and I think more great things are coming.”
“I am a Romanista and at the end of the day I was sitting in front of my TV for the match in Tirana and was rooting like all Romanisti.”
