Roger Ibañez knows Roma need more defensive consistency

Ibanez of AS Roma

Roma defender Roger Ibañez was briefly interviewed by Sky Sport minutes away from the team’s Monday night fixture vs Spezia.

The centre-back was asked about the defensive mistakes in the second half to Roma 3-2 CSKA Sofia:

“Mourinho wasn’t the only one angry at those two goals we conceded.”

“We were all frustrated. But now we’ve worked on it and we’re ready to go.”

When asked about his preference in playing a certain type of formation, Ibañez answered:

“It doesn’t matter to me. The coach makes his decision and I adapt. We’re all ready to go and play hard.”
