Despite links to several teams in Italy and abroad, Roger Ibañez will most likely remain in the Italian capital and continue to lead Roma’s backline for another season.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Ibañez has drawn the interest of Milan and some Premier League clubs.
However, Roma have made it clear to the defender and his entourage that they do not intend to let him go unless a considerable offer were to arrive at the club’s doorstep.
Ibañez has a €80 million release clause in his contract, which is valid until 2025.
The Giallorossi want to continue relying on him, Chris Smalling and Gianluca Mancini as Mourinho’s main defensive unit.
