Roma defender Roger Ibanez made his official debut for Brazilian national team in last night’s 5-1 win over Tunisia. The 23-year-old centre-back sounded ecstatic in his post-match interview with Mola.
“This is an unforgettable feeling. It was a beautiful first game for me. I don’t have any words for my debut, it was a great personal moment,” he said.
“Mourinho’s impact on me counts for a lot of my being here. Now, I am going back to Roma and I will be ready, I know it.”
“I owe this debut to Roma, because it depends on the club whether I play or not. I am forever grateful to the club,” he concluded.
