Roma defender Roger Ibañez is reportedly nearing a return to the pitch after suffering a knee injury at the beginning of the month, claims Tuttomercatoweb.
The Brazilian centre-back sustained a painful blow to the knee in Roma’s defeat to Inter in Coppa Italia.
The official verdict of the injury was a collateral ligament elongation to the left knee, with up to 5 weeks of missed action.
However, the 23-year-old is making huge leaps in his recovery and could return to Mourinho’s disposal as soon as the start of March in order to give Roma a boost in the final weeks of this year’s campaign.
