Minutes away from kick-off to tonight’s Serie A engagement at the Juventus Stadium, Roma centre-back Roger Ibañez was asked to address the team’s defensive stability in the first two outings of the season in a pre-match interview with DAZN.
“We’re working well as a unit,” said the 23-year-old defender. “Everything – even the defense – starts from the attack. We’re all in it together,” he added.
When asked about teammate Paulo Dybala and his return to Turin for the first time since his summer switch to Roma, Ibañez replied, “He’s calm and seems to be doing well.”
“He’s a great footballer and we all know what he’s capable of. We expect to see him at his best today.”
