Roma defender Roger Ibanez was asked to speak ahead of tonight’s kick-off with Atalanta.
The Brazilian centreback discussed the challenges of the game that awaits the Giallorossi and explained how Chris Smalling’s absence will impact the team’s defensive stability.
“Tonight is going to be difficult, we know that,” he told DAZN before the game. “We know they’re a quality side but we’ve worked hard to have a good game today.”
“Smalling? He’s very important for us but we have other good players available. Smalling is strong but we trust other guys on the team as well.”
