Roma will likely have to do without their starting defender in Roger Ibañez for the upcoming weeks, reports Il Tempo.
According to the newspaper, Ibañez – who exited the game against Inter at half-time – has suffered a collateral ligament elongation to the left knee. The injury could reportedly keep him sidelined for the next 3-4 weeks.
The Brazilian centre-back could return around March 6th, in time for Roma’s big match vs Atalanta.
In the meantime, Marash Kumbulla will take his place alongside Chris Smalling and Gianluca Mancini.
