Roma boss Paulo Fonseca spoke to Sky Sport after his side’s 1-1 Derby draw against Lazio. Here’s what he had to say following the clash:
What did you think of what Pau Lopez did?
It’s an unfortunate situation for Pau. I must say, however, that he is a great goalkeeper. I haven’t talked to Pau. It is a situation that can happen to anyone but Pau has done so many good things in other games.
Roma dominated the game. Are you disappointed with the result?
It’s a shame because what the lads have done leaves me feeling very proud. We had a great game against a great team. The statistics from this game are incredible. We had courage and were constantly playing in their half and creating scoring chances. It’s easier for us to believe when we play this way. I think the lads deserved more than the result.
