Roma and Milan were forced to share the spoils this evening in their showdown filled with top four implications.

With scoring chances coming at a premium, the final ten minutes were filled with drama after Tammy Abraham’s goal in the 93rd minute, which was canceled out by Alexis Saelemaekers just three minutes later.

It’s a bitter pill for the Giallorossi to swallow after Abraham’s goal seemed to seal all three points for Jose Mourinho’s side. However, a draw now keeps the capital club level on points but still behind the Rossoneri in the Serie A table.

Both sides began cautiously with neither willing to risk conceding early on. .

The hosts were especially conservative after they had to replace Marash Kumbulla after just 15 minutes due to injury. Roma were willing to let the Rossoneri have the ball and attempt to counter-attack.

However, neither side could muster a high quality opportunity with the first half ending with 0 shots on target.

Action picked up after the break with the hosts coming close to opening the goalscoring through Leonardo Spinazzola then Stephan El Shaarawy.

The visitors struggled to match Roma’s attacking prowess but they did just enough to keep the score level 0-0.

With the match headed for a draw, a lifeline appeared out of nowhere for the Giallorossi.

Zeki Celik and Tammy Abraham linked up for a superb attacking action that led to the Englishman finding the back of the net in the 94th minute.

The hosts appeared to have all three points in the bag and were just seconds away from leapfrogging Milan in the table.

However, Alexis Saelemaekers went unmarked at the back post and slotted home to earn the defending champions a crucial point at the death.
