Roma earned a much-needed three points this evening following a tough week that included a high profile transfer controversy and two defeats.
The Giallorossi defeated Empoli 2-0 in the Italian capital, handing the Tuscan side their first defeat since November 8th against Napoli.
Two quickfire goals early in the first half from Roger Ibanez and Tammy Abraham were all the hosts needed to get back on track.
Once again, Paulo Dybala led Roma's attack and created all sorts of problems for Paolo Zanetti's men, assisting on both goals. According to Opta, Dybala became the first player to provide two assists within the first six minutes of a match since the 2004/05 season.
