Roma 2-1 Parma, Veretout: “When we’re united, we can do great things”.

Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout spoke to DAZN immediately following his goal in the Giallorossi’s 2-1 victory over Parma this evening. This is what he had to say:

Today was an important result to regain confidence.
Yes, after 3 losses in a row, we restart on the right foot, we have to recover quickly, though, because Saturday against Brescia will be difficult.

The lack of physical condition applies to everyone but today you guys seemed more fresh.
Yes, I think it was a mentality problem, we had to react immediately. When we are united we can do great things. Today we could have won 3-1 or 4-1, it would have been the most logical result.

How important is Mkhitaryan for you?
We have great players like him, Dzeko, Kolarov, Fazio — us younger people must learn from them and continue like this.
