Roma 4-3 Cagliari, Fonseca: “We had a good game but we suffered too much”.

Roma boss Paulo Fonseca was interviewed by Sky Sport after his side’s 4-3 win over Cagliari.

You showed trust in Kalinić.
We changed 5 players because we had the game against Gent. We have many tired players and Dzeko was one of the most tired. I decided to play with Kalinić because he was training well. The others played a good game too.

Did you guys suffer too much?
Yes, we believe we shouldn’t suffer like this. We had a very good game, we had many opportunities to wrap it up earlier. It wouldn’t have been fair if we hadn’t won today.

Would the table be different if you had Mkhitaryan from the beginning?
I can not say it. He is improving day by day, he is an important player.

How can Mkhitaryan and Pellegrini play together?
This is a big problem for a coach, but it is much worse when we have no players available. There is room for everyone, especially for good players.
