Roma have reportedly made the decision to withdraw from transfer talks for Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport writes the Giallorossi have decided not to continue pursuing the 26 year-old due to his reluctance about a move to the club. He reportedly seems unconvinced by Roma as a potential destination and wants to weigh all his options carefully before making a final decision.
The capital club offered Chiesa a central role in their plans and hoped he’d be convinced by the opportunity to become a focal point of the squad.
But, alas, the newspaper writes that Chiesa’s hesitance motivated the Giallorossi to shift their focus to other transfer targets.
