Roma are beginning to plan their summer transfer window with the priority of strengthening their attack.
The Giallorossi are said to be considering transfer targets who will soon become free agents as the club heavily depend on Champions League qualification in order to make important investments on the market.
According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, although Gianluca Scamacca remains Roma’s number one objective in case of Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea, the capital club have also added Benfica’s Rafa Silva to their shopping list.
The 30-year-old Portuguese attacker is set to leave Benfica as a free agent at the end of the season. For Roma, he represents a flexible option up front as he is able to cover multiple positions.
This season, Silva has impressed in the Portuguese league with 12 goals and 11 assists in 28 appearances.
