Roma continue their search for a new sporting director.
The capital club are yet to appoint a new executive in place of Tiago Pinto who left his post as the club’s General Manager in February.
As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, the search continues with a handful of candidates still on Roma’s radar despite the clearly favored ones such as Francois Modesto of Monza and Fiorentina’s Nicolas Burdisso.
In addition to those two, Roma are said to have shown interest in Sean Sogliano, long-time director of Hellas Verona who has worked for the Northern side from 2012 until 2015 and 2022 until present day.
Verona’s financial difficulties may prompt Sogliano to seek new opportunities elsewhere with Roma listed as one of the potential destinations.
