Roma advance first bid for Mady Camara of Olympiakos

Roma have prioritized the signing of Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara as the replacement of Gini Wijnaldum is likely to miss the next few months with leg fracture.

The capital club have accelerated talks with the player’s entourage and the Greek club over the past 24 hours.

In fact, Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport reports that Roma have advanced the first bid for Camara: €1 million for the initial loan and an option to buy worth €7 million in total.

Negotiations are underway with Olympiakos pushing to include on obligation for the 25-year-old midfielder. Camara was left out of Olympiakos’ squad for tonight’s Europa League playoff with Apollon Limassol.
