Roma are taking important steps to further improve the squad at Gian Piero Gasperini’s disposal.
The Italian coach has asked the club to target several players in this transfer window that would guarantee him a competitive team for next year’s Champions League tournament.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, following Gian Piero Gasperini’s approval, there have been renewed contacts between Roma and Kerim Alajbegovic.
The Bosnian winger, born in 2007, impressed last season at Salzburg and with his national team, prompting Bayer Leverkusen to immediately activate the buy-back option they retained after his sale last summer.
Roma aren’t the only ones interested in the young left winger. Ghisolfi, the former Roma sporting director, is also interested in bringing him to Sunderland. The player’s fee is around €30 million, but Alajbegovic wants to be coached by Gian Piero Gasperini.
