Roma have made Alexander Sorloth their priority to replace Romelu Lukaku.

The Norwegian striker coming off a season with 26 goals and 6 assists to his name is deemed a suitable replacement of Big Rom who recently concluded his loan in the capital.

According to Sky Sport, Roma have already reached a preliminary agreement with the player.

However, the agreement with Villareal remains to be defined, which requires the payment of the entire release clause, set at 38 million euros, to release the attacker.

The sum requested by Villareal represents a significant obstacle for Roma’s finances.

The next few days will therefore be important to negotiate an economic agreement between the two clubs.
