Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Roma and Malmö have reached an agreement on the basis on €2 million plus €1.5 million in bonuses for goalkeeper Marko Johansson.
The youngster has been linked to Roma for months, however, given the uncertainty of the future surrounding Alisson, the player has no interest in being a back up. Roma have yet to find an agreement with the player and his entourage due to this concern. Red Bull Leipzig are also interested in the player, though, they have yet to reach an agreement with Malmö. The decision is now up to Johansson.
Real Madrid remain strongly interested in Alisson, however, no deal is certain. Monchi is not satisfied with Roma’s current options behind Alisson so he will eye alternatives elsewhere. Any discussions regarding Alisson will not happen until after the season, however, Monchi does not want to be unprepared in the event Alisson leaves.
