Roma aiming to renew Dean Huijsen’s loan: Juventus not convinced

Andy Mattioli

Roma want to renew the paid loan of Dean Huijsen from Juventus.

The Dutch centreback has fully convinced the capital club following his loan move from the Bianconeri in January.

Ove the course of these last few months, Huijsen emerged as a reliable option in the defense, scoring 2 goals along the way.

According to TuttoSport, Roma are so pleased with him that they would like to extend his stay beyond the expiry of his current temporary deal: the Giallorossi do not have the means as of now to meet Juve’s demands for the 18-year-old.

The newspaper claims that Roma will try to advance the idea of renewing the player’s loan for another season. However, Juve do not seem convinced.

The Bianconeri are planning to include Huijsen in their plans for the 24/25 season.

In the meantime, Borussia Dortmund have also made inquiries for the Dutchman with Juventus willing to let him go for around €30-35 million.
