Roma are trying to make the best of the depth at their disposal for the remainder of the season.
The Giallorossi are taking advantage of the return of various elements within the team such as Chris Smalling and Renato Sanches – players who had been dealing with long-term injuries and are now back to Daniele De Rossi’s disposal.
De Rossi continues to rely on most of the squad – Corriere della Sera reports that since his arrival in January, De Rossi has utilized 25 players across 8 games in Serie A and Europa League. The only player still missing from De Rossi’s rotations is Tammy Abraham who is finalizing the last step of his recovery from an ACL injury.
Only two players were present in all 8 matches: Lukaku (641 minutes) and Pellegrini (596).
The player used for the most minutes, unsurprisingly, was Gianluca Mancini (660 minutes) who missed only match due to suspension. Dybala’s contribution was very significant: Joya played 562 minutes in 7 appearances but, above all, he played 191 minutes in four days between Feyenoord (return leg) and Torino.
