Roma also consider Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho

With Tiago Pinto still in London working to close the deal for Tammy Abraham and attend other business meetings related to Roma’s transfer window, the capital club continues being linked to names for the vacant spot in the attack following Edin Dzeko’s departure.

According Sky Sports UK, an alternative to Abraham is Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho. Roma have reportedly inquired about the Nigerian attacker.

The player however might be hard to get to. Not only has he become a protagonist in Brendan Rodgers’ side scoring a career-best 16 goals last season; he also recently penned a new three-year deal with the Foxes.

Despite the rumors, Roma are working to conclude the deal for Abraham and talks are ongoing. Later today a second meeting between General Manager Tiago Pinto and Abraham’s agent is scheduled to take place in London.
