The AC Milan winger has reportedly been offered to the Giallorossi by an intermediary, at a time when their relationship with the Rossoneri appears to be weakening.
According to Retesport, the Portuguese’s profile is particularly appreciated due to his technical and physical characteristics, considered ideal for Gian Piero Gasperini’s style of play.
The coach reportedly indicated last summer the need for an attacking winger with similar qualities.
The presence of Frederic Massara in the Roma management could also make this option more attractive.
It was the current Roma director, during his time at AC Milan, who brought Leao to the Rossoneri, a factor that could facilitate potential contacts between the parties.
Negotiations have not yet begun, partly due to the high costs of the deal.
The final assessment will be made by Gasperini, who has reportedly already indicated to the club several priority names for the attacking department ahead of next season and the Champions League campaign.
