Roma are listed as one of the several European clubs interested in Ajax defender Jurrien Timber, deemed one of the top prospects of his age.
As reported by calciomercato.it, the Giallorossi are keen on Timber and are monitoring his development this season under new manager Alfred Schreuder.
Timber’s defensive versatility which allows him to switch from centreback to fullback with ease has put him at the center of numerous transfer rumors.
Ajax had reportedly rejected two offers worth €25 million each from Manchester United and Bayern Munich earlier in the summer.
Roma, Napoli and Inter are all interested in the 21-year-old defender.
