Roma and Bologna are involved in a race for Almeria fullback Marc Pubill.

The two clubs are currently looking for additional reinforcements and have turned their attention to the 21-year-old right-back.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma have been monitoring Pubill for quite a while, him and Assignon from Rennes are the current favorites to strengthen the right flank of De Rossi’s team.

In the meantime, Di Marzio reports that Bologna have also joined the race for Pubill after Emil Holm’s injury.

With Holm sidelined not long after his signing earlier in the month, Bologna have added Pubill as the Swede’s replacement.

Newcastle United are also listed among the teams interested in Pubill who is currently involved with Spain’s Olympics squad.
