Roma and Fazio agree to contract resolution

Roma and Argentinian defender Federico Fazio have agreed to part ways in the final days of the January window, reports Corriere dello Sport.

The 34-year-old centre-back has agreed to contract resolution with the club, and as a result is also withdrawing the €2 million lawsuit against the Giallorossi after Mourinho excluded him from first team training earlier in the summer.

The player had been pursued by several teams before Salernitana drew his attention. Fazio reportedly rejected offers from Cagliari, Bologna, Parma, Genoa and Cadiz CF over the last year.
