Roma are being linked with Fiorentina fullback Michael Kayode.

The 20-year-old right-back is supposedly the new name on Roma’s summer shortlist as the Giallorossi seek a young replacement of Rick Karsdorp who’s been excluded from the team’s preseason training camp.

Over recent days, Fiorentina have been looking at Roma’s Edoardo Bove as a potential midfield reinforcement.

Bove’s time at Roma seems to be drawing to a close as the player’s agent continues to look for a new destination on the market.

According to Leggo, the two teams share excellent relations. As a result, they have started to think about a swap involving Bove and Kayode.

Kayode is facing a similar situation to Bove at Fiorentina in that his prospects of getting consistent playing time are limited behind the likes of Dodo and Biraghi.

The player is a fast-paced fullback who prefers to play on the right wing but can also be deployed on the left if necessary. His signing could therefore be very valuable for Daniele De Rossi, who needs new full-backs and has asked Ghisolfi for reinforcements.
