Tiago Pinto, Roma’s General Director, and Piero Ausilio, Inter’s Sporting Director, met today in Milano to discuss a potential swap deal involving Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez.
Sky Sport reports that the pair met for multiple hours to negotiate a loan swap involving the attacking duo, however, there is still work to be for the deal to be completed.
The Bosnian’s wages remain the primary hurdle because the Nerazzurri can only complete the swap if the figures are identical.
Inter have informed the Giallorossi that they will have to pay the €3 million gap in order to finalise the deal but it remains to be seen if they would be willing to do so.
The sides will meet again tomorrow to better understand if an understanding can be found.
