Roma and Juventus are in continued talks for the transfer of Nicolo Zaniolo with the player’s agent holding several meetings with both clubs over the past few week.

According to GOAL Italia, the two clubs have discussed the potential inclusion of Denis Zakaria in a deal for Zaniolo. The Giallorossi are willing to consider the Swiss midfielder as the only valid counterpart. Others – including Arthur, Moise Kean and Weston McKennie – are not of interest to the capital club.

The sports outlet further reports that if Zakaria were to be included in Juve’s proposal, Roma would additionally ask for at least €30 million, whereas Juve are keen on including only €20-25 million.

However, at this moment in time, Roma are more inclined to accept a cash-only proposal based on a loan with obligation to buy at the end of the season.
