Manu Koné is the latest name to be linked with Roma as a possible late summer reinforcement.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the player has expressed his desire to leave the Gladbach already at the beginning of the summer, thus opening the doors to a possible transfer.

However, not only Roma are interested in Koné.

AC Milan have also shown strong interest, with Rossoneri executive Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently confirming that the club are following the player closely.

For Milan, however, the situation is complicated by the need to free up space in the team’s roster.

The possible departures of Adli and Kalulu would not be enough; the sale of Bennacer, who disappointed in his performance against Torino, would also be necessary.

Initially, Borussia Moenchengladbach had set the price of Koné at 30 million euros, but now it could be possible to close the deal for a figure around 20 million. This price drop could benefit Roma.
