Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches could conclude his loan spell at Roma earlier than anticipated.
After failing to impress the club and Mourinho, Sanches is being linked with a move away from the Italian capital prior to the January transfer deadline.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Sanches’ entourage have been at work, collecting proposals from abroad and more specifically – Turkey.
The newspaper claims Besiktas – who recently secured the appointment of former Portugal coach Fernando Santos with whom Sanches won EURO 2016 – are still in the race for the 26-year-old.
Both Roma and Paris Saint-Germain have encouraged Sanches to accept Besiktas as an option until the end of the season.
The Giallorossi hope they can terminate Sanches’ loan in order to save a considerable amount in wages which they can in turn use to complete another signing before the deadline.
