Roma and Sassuolo hope to close the gap for Defrel today

La Gazzetta dello Sport: Sassuolo president Squinzi continues to open more and more to the sale of Defrel.

The Emiliani started asking €25 million for the player while the Giallorossi do not want to go over €15 million, but the deal could be close with the inclusion of Marchizza, central defender of the Primavera.

Indeed, cautious optimism has started to circulate into Roma as the gap between the demand of Sassuolo and the offer of Roma seems to now be much smaller with the inclusion of Marchizza. Soon the directors of both clubs will meet in Milan to try and bridge the gap more and maybe even close. Unlikely to go to Sassuolo is Roma’s Tumminiello as it appears, for now, Marchizza would be the only one included in the deal.
