Justin Kluivert is edging closer to a permanent stay in Spain following his initial loan move from Roma on deadline day in September.
Valencia are enthusiastic with Kluivert’s growth since his arrival at the start of the season. Over recent months, the Dutchman has impressed Gennaro Gattuso who praised him ahead of tonight’s Copa del Rey match-up with Sporting Gijon.
“I see him doing well, I think he can do many things even better because he has lots of quality. Sometimes I get very angry with him because I think he has what it takes to play at the highest level. He has to keep growing, improve and reduce the number of mistakes as much as possible.”
According to ForzaRoma.info, the Giallorossi are negotiating the fee for Kluivert’s transfer to Valencia to become permanent. Roma want €15 million. Valencia thus far have only offered €6 million.
