Roma have announced this afternoon that midfielder Ante Ćorić has left the club on loan.
The Croatian midfielder has joined Dutch side VVV-Venlo, who also have an option to make the move permanent, for the remainder of the season.
Ćorić joined Roma from Dinamo Zagreb in 2018 but made only 3 appearances in his first season in Italy. The 23 year-old was sent on loan last summer to Almeria in the Spanish Segunda Division.
Ćorić spoke briefly to VVV-Venlo’s official website about his move from the Italian capital.
“There was a lot of interest from many clubs, but in the end I chose VVV-Venlo. I have a very good feeling about this step to Venlo and the Eredivisie,” said the 23 year-old.
