Nicolo Zaniolo’s renewal remains Roma’s priority after a busy transfer window.
The player is said to be in talks with the capital club for a contract extension until 2027, effectively dismissing the persisting rumours that kept linking the Roma attacker with a move away from the Italian capital in favour of Juventus or Tottenham.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tiago Pinto will keep his promise and meet with Zaniolo’s agent – Claudio Vigorelli – in the next few days to discuss the details of the player’s contract.
As stated by the Portuguese director, Zaniolo was never close to leaving the club this past summer and now the intention of both sides is to keep working together for years to come.
